After I had my son, Oliver, there was no doubt in my mind that I would be returning to work. I’m not ashamed to admit that as much as I loved being home with baby, I missed the intellectual challenge of my job, and I was excited to return after a few months away. But, being a working mom means that I had to outsource some of my caretaking responsibilities. As I weighed the pros and cons of my options, I sometimes found myself conflicted and uncertain of which path to take.
